NMP- Haku 'Into these Arms'

I chose Haku as my first choice, and was surprised that he was given to me, well it was a random selector, but still I felt privaleged.
With so many outstanding aritsts that have already submitted their works, I felt that I needed to work my hardest on this so that it will be appreciated by everyone.

I will admit that I slacked until the last two weeks on this, (although the first draft was done the 2nd day), because I was having problems with this perspective, and really wanted to keep from doing my usual flat crap.

I know of many of the mistakes, I tried to be a bit different, I didn't want this to be horribly sad, he is welcoming Zabusa, I felt that bright soft colors were appropriate, plus I think Haku want it that way. Please do not point out the obvious ones and laugh at me. I've never felt more proud of a picture until this one, don't shoot me down.

Sorry if it's felt that my interpretation doesn't look like Haku, others that were viewing my progress automatically indentified it as him. I don't color Shika with his true manga black hair color either, I felt that this lighter color matched the overall, 'In Heaven' tone, I was going for.

Sorry the snow on the ground couldn't be better, I'm still learning background painting afterall.
